What is SIS calendar integration?

A student information system (SIS), sometimes called an ERP in French Canada, is the system of record for class schedules, sections, rooms, and term calendars. On its own, an SIS rarely shows schedule data inside the tools students and instructors actually use day-to-day — Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Google Calendar. SIS calendar integration bridges that gap: it reads schedule data from the SIS and pushes it, accurately and reliably, into each person's calendar, with updates whenever the underlying schedule changes.
